Introduction
Any action to be accomplished in runtime can be protected by
‘Function Numbers’.
Function Numbers are pooled in 'User Profiles'.
The access rights in runtime depend on the User Profile assigned to a user.
See also: Access Protection
Dependent on the used ALPHA-VISION®-Version User Profiles are created via:
- AvET - User profile list (not working yet)
- Browser - User Profile (described here)
User Profile
- Any User got a User Profile.
- A User Profile is a unique number between 0 and 99.
- To a User Profile an arbitrary number of Function Numbers can be added.
- A Function Number represents an authorization.
- Function numbers are not hierarchical.
(A given Function Number does not include the authorization of
lower numbers.)
- Function Numbers from 0 to 999 are possible.
- Function Number “0” allows access for anybody.
The BROWSER option ‘User profiles..’ opens the following dialog window:
Existing Profiles are shown.
