SUMMARY
The program makes fonts available on the PC ready for use with the AbvEditor.

Introduction
Via that subprogram available fonts are selected and defined for the use
within the current project.
Thereby any defined font gets a unique name and a unique ID; via the ID the
font is identified within the system.
Note:
Should the runtime used on other PCs too, it has to be taken care that the
defined fonts are available on those PCs also.
(The same font on different language variants may cause image problems.)
Calling up the program
It is done via the pull down menu 'File' of the 'AbvBrowser' and mouse click
to the item ‘Fonts…'
A similar dialog window is opened:

The first column refers to the Font-ID, the second one to the font name.
Possible actions via the buttons

Adds a font.
(If a font is marked, a newly created data record contains the parameters
of the marked one; without a previously marked font the record

Creating a new Font

Press the "Add…" button; in the appearing dialog Window press the
button.
An additional window displays any on the system available font – select
according to your needs. In the field below an example of the selected type
is shown. For the selection ‘Scripts’ only “westliche” are valid.
Via the "OK" button the entries are saved and the window is closed.
- In the now active window you may input a Font-ID (0 – 255) and a font
name.
Via the "OK" button the entries are saved and the window is closed. The
font in now listed with its number and name. With the "OK" button the new
font is finaly saved and now available in the AbvEditor for use.
Note:
Font-Ids may not exist twice.
Font-Names may, but should not exist twice, since in the AbvEditor the
fonts are selectable via names.
Modifying an existing Font
Select the Font and press ‘Edit’, the known dialog window appears,
but with the parameters of the Font to modify are shown.
Proceed as described below "Creating a new Font".
Delete an existing Font group
Select the Font and press ‘Delete’.
