SUMMARY
The 'AbvEditor' is used to create or modify process pictures and their
adjuncts.

Introduction
With that native drawing program process pictures may be created or modified.
The Editor got simple tools to create, modify or manipulate graphic objects.
The handling mainly follows the Windows-Standards.
It offers the opportunity to dynamize graphic objects according their
properties (e.g. color, appearance); i.e. in runtime their properties
depends on the state of the running process.
In order to activate created/modified files for runtime the version of the
project must be compiled.
Calling up the program
The ‘AbvBrowser’ is called via the icon

It is distinguished between 3 areas:
- Working area:
That area is used to create/modify pictures and their adjuncts.
- Tool elements:
From there are selections made to create or modify pictures and their
adjuncts.
- Status line:
It shows information about the objects in the pictures while working
on it.
Working area
The Working area of the editor is realised as a ‘Windows-Multi-Document-
Applikation‘, i.e. in that main window more than one picture may be open at
the same time.
From the displayed windows only one is activ at a time, indicated by the
highlighted title bar.
Any window may be moved, resized or reduced to an icon.
Tool elements
The tool elements are valid for all pictures; a selection made relates to
the objects of the active window.
Tool elements are selected via:
Status line
The Status line gives information about the selected graphic object or a hint
about the next step of an initiated action.
The information depends on the action performed and is described when
necessary.
Generally applies:
- The fields "x" and "y" define the mouse pointer position, resp. the
left upper corner of a selected object or object group.
- Die Felder "dx" und "dy" definieren die Ausdehnung eines Objekt/
Objektgruppe.
- The field on the right shows the number of selected objects.
