Introduction

The ALPHA-VISION® program "AvReplay" allows to analyse the archived data by replaying the process sequence for the wanted period of time in the runtime environment.
The runtime files for the project matching to the data to be analysed must be available.

Further information is found in the help files:

Note:
Generally any program able to deal with analyzing data of files with the extension ‘.dbf’ may be used.
No support for external programs are provided by alpha-bit.

Preparing data for AvReplay

Due to the saving automatism, process data to be analysed usually are stored in different hour-archives, compressed to daily-archives. (see: archiving data)
"AvReplay" cannot handle archives spread over several files.
With the program "Zip2Dbf.exe" data spread over several archives can be collected and combined to a single, hours= days overlapping file.

For the program "AvReplay", data for the same period of time must be collected from the archive folders

and be written to two separate files.
