Pictures in DisplayLists are needed for reference as Alarm Pictures.

Introduction

AvET does not support any graphic editor yet. For a correct export to VisuNT any picture referenced as AlarmPicture must be known to the AvET. Therefore Pictures are imported and saved as DisplayEntries in a DisplayList.

• DisplayEntries are combined in DisplayLists.
• DisplayLists got the extension ".dil.xml"

• Create DisplayLists.
• Import DisplayLists.
  
  
• Create DisplayEntries within DisplayLists.
• Modify DisplayEntries within DisplayLists.
• Delete DisplayEntries within DisplayLists.

Create DisplayLists

Recommendation:
Create a subfolder called "DisplayLists" in the Project folder.

In the pull down menu ‘File’ of the toolbar - select "new".
In the opened window select the item “DisplayLists”.
Input the wanted name in the ‘Name’ –field and the wanted location below.

Finish with OK.

Delete/ Modify/ Create/ DisplayEntries

Open the wanted DisplayList via double-click.

• In the center window the DisplayEntries of the DisplayList are shown.
• The right window shows the properties of the DisplayList itself.

In the toolbar are the actions ‘apply’, ‘reset’ and ‘new Object’ operable.

Select the wanted DisplayEntry in the center window.

• The right window shows the definitions for that DisplayEntry.
• The 'delete' symbol in the toolbar becomes operable.

Click the 'delete' symbol in the toolbar.

• In the center window the entry is deleted.
• The right window is empty.

If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the deletion is final.

Select the wanted DisplayEntry in the center window.

• The right window shows the definitions for that DisplayEntry.

In the right window you may modify the definitions.

• The field name of a modified field is marked with an asterisk.
• If the symbol ‘Apply’ is clicked the asterisk disappears.

If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the change is final.

Select ‘New Object’ in the toolbar.
A DisplayEntry is created.

• The system places the default name disN (N stands for the running number)

If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the newly created DisplayEntry is saved.
