This program is used to transfer data from an Operator Station (OS) to a connected partner.

Introduction

The OS keeps the whole process image, so it is generally possible to access any MP of a project.

The program is started by executing Request.exe

Coupling of the PCs

• Data are transferred via a point-to-point connection. (serial or parallel)
• The connection is realized via the standard Windows functionalities.
• Only one connection per PC is possible.

Transfer of data

Data from ALPHA-VISION are transferred in a standardized data format (see Transfer of data).

Configuring the program

• Configuring of the program is done via the Request.ini file.
• The Ini-File entries valid for MP Data-Transfer are made up in the Keyword-List
• For transferring Event-Data different entries are possible, respectively necessary, there are made up in the Archivdaten-Liste.
