Introduction

Stations are control units (Process server, Client) where the DataObjects are located at.

Station types in dependency of the Station numbers:
Station number Created as Station type
1 - 98 Station Process server
99 -100 Station Process server
(special)
from 101 Station Client
1 - 98 AbvSpu Station Process server

Note:
Dependent whether a Process server is created as "Station" or "AbvSpu Station" it got different properties.


The fields in the "_Station.dbf" table in VisionNT are different in names and number to that in the AvET.

In the AvET:

Using the AvET you may:

Create StationLists

Recommendation:
Create a subfolder called "Stations" in the Project folder.

In the pull down menu ‘File’ of the toolbar - select "new".
In the opened window select the item “StationList”.
Input the wanted name in the ‘Name’ –field and the wanted location below.

Note:
The path of the opened project is shown, it may be extended - not existent directories are created.


Finish with OK.

Note:
A StationList with the given name and the extension ".stn.xml" is created in the defined folder and shown in the tree in the left window.

Delete/ Modify/ Create/ Stations

Open the wanted StationList via double-click.

In the toolbar are the actions ‘apply’, ‘reset’ and ‘new Object’ operable.

Delete Station
Select the wanted Station in the center window. Click the 'delete' symbol in the toolbar. If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the deletion is final.

Modify Stations
Select the wanted Station in the center window. In the right window you may modify the definitions.
Note:
It is not possible to change a “Station” into a “AbvSpu-Station” (and vice versa). Only via delete and create possible.
If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the change is final.

Create Stations
Dependent on the Station wanted select “Station insert” or “AbvSpu station insert”.
A Station is created.

Input a Station number.

If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the change is final.
