Introduction
Stations are control units (Process server, Client) where the DataObjects
are located at.
Station types in dependency of the Station numbers:

Note:
Dependent whether a Process server is created as "Station" or "AbvSpu Station"
it got different properties.
The fields in the "_Station.dbf" table in VisionNT are different in names
and number to that in the AvET.
In the AvET:
- Stations are combined in StationLists.
- StationLists got the extension ".stn.xml"
Using the AvET you may:
- Create StationLists.
- Import StationLists.
- Export StationLists.
- Create Stations within StationLists.
- Modify Stations within StationLists.
- Delete Stations within StationLists.
Create StationLists
Recommendation:
Create a subfolder called "Stations" in the Project folder.
In the pull down menu ‘File’ of the toolbar - select "new".
In the opened window select the item “StationList”.
Input the wanted name in the ‘Name’ –field and the wanted location below.
Note:
The path of the opened project is shown, it may be extended - not
existent directories are created.
Finish with OK.
Note:
A StationList with the given name and the extension ".stn.xml" is
created in the defined folder and shown in the tree in the left window.

Delete/ Modify/ Create/ Stations
Open the wanted StationList via double-click.
- In the center window the Stations of the StationList are
shown.
- The right window shows the properties of the StationList
itself.
In the toolbar are the actions ‘apply’, ‘reset’ and ‘new Object’ operable.
Delete Station
Select the wanted Station in the center window.
- The right window shows the definitions for that Station.
- The 'delete' symbol in the toolbar becomes operable.
Click the 'delete' symbol in the toolbar.
- In the center window the entry is deleted.
- The right window is empty.
If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the deletion is
final.
Modify Stations
Select the wanted Station in the center window.
- The right window shows the definitions for that Station.
In the right window you may modify the definitions.
- The field name of a modified field is marked with an asterisk.
- If the symbol ‘Apply’ is clicked the asterisk disappears.
Note:
It is not possible to change a “Station” into a “AbvSpu-Station” (and
vice versa). Only via delete and create possible.
If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the change is
final.

Create Stations
Dependent on the Station wanted select “Station insert” or “AbvSpu
station insert”.
A Station is created.
- The system assigns the default name "StationN" or "AbvSpu-StationN"
(N stands for the running number)
Input a Station number.
- Dependent on the station number the field “type” reads ‘Process
server’ or ‘Client’. (On Station type “Station”)
If on closing the file the modification is confirmed, the change is
final.
