Time
There are two variants for modifying the time:
- Synchronizing the time
- Setting the time
Synchronizing the time
All times used in the system are synchronized to the time of the PLC
defined as Time-Master.During runtime the time is synchronized via cyclic Time Telegrams send by the Time-Master.
Setting the time
For setting a time one of the OS sends a DateTime-Telegram to all PLCs. The
Time-Master evaluates the telegram and sends an ‘acknowledge’ to all
stations, which thereafter set the new time.
