Overview

Data-Objects in Visu2000 can be connected to the according Data-Objects of the ACI. Value changes recognized by the ACI are forwarded to BdcRun.exe. In reverse value changes made in Visu2000 are handed over to the ACI.

Preconditions in Visu2000

• The Data-Objects must have the same Name (The “$” character in System-Object-Names must be replaced by “_”; on importing VisionNT-Tables it is done automatically)
  
  
• Currently the System-Object properties “Value”, “Status” and “Text” are supported, the Data-Objects must have the appropriate attributes. That can be achieved by using the predefined classes, or by creating user defined classes with the according attributes; when importing VisionNT-Tables these attributes are automatically present.
  
  
• The files (*.obj.xml) must be found in a subdirectory “_ACI” of the project folder.
  
  
• If Data-Objects are created by importing VisionNT-Tables please take care to keep only *.obj.xml-Files in the “_ACI” folder. Any other files are needless for the ACI-Connection but increases startup time for BdcRun tremendously.
