On selecting this radio button both databases are compressed to an archive,
which is stored in the installation directory.
The archive has the name syntax "Killcard-DB_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.zip". This archive

Form Insert Rooms

This form is shown, if no rooms are defined in the database, e. g.
at first time use.
There are two options to add rooms:
- Import from a text (.txt) file
- Add rooms manually
Both options will be described in detail in the following paragraphs.
Import from a text (.txt) file
After pushing the button "Import Rooms from .txt" a message box will
open with more information regarding the format of the text file.

These format parameters have to be:
- Tab separated text file
- The header in the text file must be
- Room_Department
- Room_Deck
- Room_Number
- Room_Identification
- Room_Description
For example:
After acknowledging the message box, a text file can be selected
(open file dialogue) and the import can be started by a click on
the button "Import".
After a successful import the form "Main" will be shown (see chapter
"Form Main").
Note:
A text file can only be imported once into an empty room list. After
that rooms can be added and edited by use of the form "Edit Rooms"
(see paragraph "Add rooms manually"), which is accessed via the form
"Main" (see chapter "Form Main").
A text file for import in ALPHA-VISION
®Killcards can be created by the
room list export from ALPHA-VISION
®AvET. The
exported file is named "Killcards.txt" by default, but may be changed;
it contains all available room
data of the AvET project and can be imported in ALPHA-VISION
®Killcards without
further adaptions.
Add rooms manually
A click on the button "Add rooms manually" opens the form "Edit Rooms".

In this form you can add, edit or erase rooms from the database.
Note:
After each line you have got to press the return key or click
into the next row to save the data.
A click on the button "Close" shuts this form and opens the form "Main".
At this stage the room list is checked, to make sure that at least
one room is defined. If not, a warning will be displayed and the form
will not be closed.
Relations between Entries in the ALPHA-VISION
®AvET und the Killcards
The entries in the above described "Killcard.txt" file, respectively
in the form "Edit Rooms" refer to fields in the object "RoomPolygon"
in the ALPHA-VISION

Form Main

The "Main Form" has five sections:
- "Damage Type" area [1]
- "Main Menu" area [2]
- "Room Selection" area [3]
- "Sequential Actions" area [4]
- "Update Vision Data" area [5]
For every damage type [1] you can define a selection of items in the
main menu [2]. One or more room groups can be linked to each of
these items. The rooms for each room group are assigned in the "Room Selection"
area [3]. The sequence of actions for each room group is specified in the
"Sequential Actions" area [4]. To save the data, click "Update Vision Data" [5].
Note:
A room can be assigned to ONE Killcard only for any damage type.
"Damage Type" area
Each of the five buttons represents one killcards damage type (top down):
- Fire
- Water penetration
- Atomic contamination with forewarning
- Atomic contamination without forewarning
- Chemical contamination
After pressing one of the buttons the corresponding main menu is shown,
clearly recognizable by its caption. If already existing, the first
menu item is selected, in which case the "Room Selection" area and the
"Sequential Actions" area update automatically.
"Main Menu" area
Main menu edit mode:
After a damage type was selected, a click on the button "Edit Mainmenu"
will open the main menu for editing.

If the main menu for the chosen damage type already contains items,
these are listed. You can now add new items as well as change existing
ones.
With the button "Refresh" the data is saved into the database and the
edit mode is closed. To return to the main menu display mode without
saving use the button "Cancel".
For each of the five damage types a main menu can be specified
in the described way.
Main menu display mode:

Each menu item can be select by pressing the green button in front of
the menu item. The currently selected menu item is highlighted in yellow
and its text is shown red. Also the "Room Selection" and the "Sequential
Actions" areas are automatically updated according to the selection.
"Room Selection" area
In this area you can specify the room, resp. room groups which are
linked to the activ Killcard.
The headline shows the damage type und the Killcard No.
Each damage type got its own dynamic Room List which can be displayed
via the combo box [1] for room selection.
Note:
- If a room is selected or added to a room group it is taken from that list.
- If a room is deleted from a room group it appears again in that List.
- If a killcard is deleted any room connected to that killcard is put
back into that list.
That assures that a room can only be connected to ONE killcard for a
given damage type.
The column "Description" [2] will automatically be updated with the
description of the room specified in the room list.
The remaining buttons are:
- Buttons [3]: With these Buttons you can navigate between the
existing killcards.
- Button [4]: Adds a new killcard record
- Button [5]: Generates a report of the current killcard
- Button [6]: Generates a report of all available killcards,
same as "Killcards complete" of chapter "Form Start", paragraph
"Radio Button Show"
- Button [7]: With this button you can delete a room from a
room group.
Note:
The room to be deleted must be marked.
- Button [8]: Shows the room list (see also chapter "Form Insert Rooms")
where you can add, erase or edit rooms
- Button [9]: Deletes the current killcard and all its entries
WARNING
The deletion is not reversible
"Sequential Actions" area
Here you define the sequence of actions for the active Killcard.
The left picture shows the display without any measures defined.
With button [6] the Killcard No.: [2]and the main group [1] is connected
to the actions to be defined.(see right picture)
You can now define your measures. Each measure consists of a
number [5] and a text[4].
"Update Vision Data" area

To prepare the data to be used with the ALPHA-VISION
®DCS (Damage Control System)
click the button "Update Data for Vision" (see also chapter
Killcards runtime).
The "Cancel" button returns to the "Start Form" directly, your inserted
data is still saved in the database, but is not ready to use with
ALPHA-VISION
®DCS.
