On the left side you see the ALPHA-VISION
®DCS plotsymbol area and on the right
the components of the
Killcard_Work.mdb, Form Main,
Damage Type area, as used for editing killcards.

This is the damage type menu of ALPHA-VISION
®DCS. Four damage types are used for killcards:
- Fire on board
- Water penetration
- Atomic contamination
- Chemical contamination
In the current version the item atomic contamination is separated in two items:
- with forewarning
- without forewarning

By pressing the "KC" button you get a list of all the available killcards.
Each line represents an existing killcard sorted by killcard number. If
you press the grey button in the first column of a line, the main menu
of this killcard is displayed (see below).

This main menu (see left screenshot) is similar to the main menu on the
Form Main, Main Menu area of the Killcard_Work.mdb
(see right screenshot).
- Grey button (left): List the actions associated with the actual
main countermeasure item
- Text section (middle): Description of the actual main countermeasure item
- Square (right):
- If red: There are still actions to be taken for the actual
main countermeasure item
- If green: All actions for the actual main countermeasure item were executed
- Counter (right): Shows, how many actions are still to be taken
- "R" button (top right corner): Resets the display of all main
countermeasures to unexecuted

The left screenshot shows the action menu for the main countermeasure item
"Immediate Measures", which is opened by pressing the corresponding grey
button in the main menu, as described above. This menu is similar to the
Form Main, Sequential Actions area
of the Killcard_Work.mdb (see right screenshot).
Here the specified actions for this main countermeasure item are listed.
If an action has been executed, the responsible crew member has to acknoledge
it by clicking in the square on the right side. Automatically the current
time is shown under the specified square and on the main menu (as decribed above)
the number of unprocessed actions is reduced by one.
