This document describes how to install/uninstall the SoftPLC7 software.

Installing SoftPLC7 Software
Note:
The SoftPLC7 Software-Package includes a small STEP-7 Project that is used in section ‘First Steps’.

System Requirements
The program was developed and validated on Windows NT and Windows 2000 platform.
The system configuration should meet the following criteria.
Note:
A minimum of 11 MBs of disc space is required; it will take about 2 minutes to install the complete package.

Start Installation
Follow the instructions of the Setup wizard. From the list of SoftPLC7 components, select the components to be installed. (We recommend ‘complete’ installation) Push the ‘Finish’ button to complete the installation.

Authorizing the SoftPLC7 Software
Note:
Without authorizing the program closes down itself after any 1/2 hour runtime.

Uninstall SoftPLC7 Software

 Select the 'Uninst_SoftPLC7.exe' program. From the list of SoftPLC7 components, select the components to delete. Push the ‘Finish’ button to complete uninstalling SoftPLC7 software.

WARNING
Prior of deleting the SoftPLC7 Software copy any data you want to preserve out of the 'SoftPlc7Demo' area.
